Program Description:

Travel to the village of Palmares, about 3 hours south of San Jose, and run activities and projects for the local children, Volunteers will do painting, small construction and gardening projects and on weekends have the opportunity to do sightseeing. Visit a rain forest, go to the beach and more.

Housing: Students live together in a rented house.

Cost / Availability of Financial Aid: Trip cost is $4,550. and includes R/T airfare from Miami and all food, accommodations and travel. There is some financial aid availible on a need basis and an application can be obtained by emailing worldhorizons@att.net
