Youth International: South America Program (Bolivia, Peru, and Ecuador)

Program Description:

An experiential education program combining inter-cultural exchange, community service, homestays, and adventure. Teams of up to 14 people travel together with 2 leaders for a 12-week semester, beginning Feb. and Sept. A few highlights: working on rainforest conservation in the Amazon Basin, building a school in Bolivia, hiking the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu, and sailing in the Galapagos Islands!

Program Dates / Length: 12 weeks (beginning Feb. and Sept.)

Housing: homestays, hostels

Cost / Availability of Financial Aid: US $8500. This fee covers all program expenses, including the group flight overseas from orientation, all travel, food, lodging, and scheduled program activities. Only personal items and individual free time activities are not covered. Personal items include health insurance, tourist visas, medical expenses, and transportation between your home and the orientation in Denver, Colorado.

Credit Awarded: Arrangements made by participants with their college on an individual basis
